There are ways and means to build your career as a financial planner. Being expected to generate most of your own clients isn't one of them for most people.
People like you for example.
You're not asking for much. Just the resources and access to clients for you to be successful. You're ambitious, hardworking and happy to self-generate. But that should be the cherry on top of the cake, not the cake and icing.
This isn't something you need to worry about at this Chartered wealth business.
Here you'll provide financial planning to employees of the GPPs the firm manages. This relationship gives you access to dozens of potential clients at each business and a trusted position. From there you'll provide holistic advice across pensions, investments, tax etc. and build your client book as you build your career.
This is a process the firm have used very successfully in the past so they know it's a system that works. And we know it works because we've placed people who have been through it.
Package wise you'll start on a salary of c£45,000 - £55,000 (there is some flexibility here). You'll also be part of a bonus scheme based on individual performance. Longer-term you will be on a pay journey. As you progress so will your pay.
The business also offers 27 days holiday, pension and a Group Life Scheme.
The business is a regular FTAdviser Top 100 firm and often in the upper echelons of those ratings. They also have a sizable support function (admin and paraplanning). So when it comes to developing your career you'll be in very safe hands.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
You must be level 4 qualified and have some experience as a financial planner. You don't need to have specialist GPP knowledge though just the ability to learn.
Given you'll be working within employer's offices you'll be happy to travel across the North West. And you'll be comfortable with both group presentations and in 1-1s.
