Live to work or work to live?
For many it's the latter. But how many firms let you build your work hours around your home life and get the balance you need?
This firm does. They're looking for someone on a part-time basis but how you work these hours is open to discussion.
It could be that you work every day 10-2. Or 3 days a week. Or in short, hours that suit you.
You'll also get the added flexibility of working from where you choose. One day this business may invest in an office, but for the foreseeable future you'll work from home.
So not only hours that suit. There'll be no commuting, no travel expenses and no desperate search for a car parking space. Throw in a full time equivalent salary of up to £33,000 this all adds up to a great place to work.
The business itself is a small, independent Chartered Financial Planner practice. They have a 4.9 out of 5 rating on VouchedFor and a loyal, growing, high calibre client base. They're hiring because the owner needs more support than outsourcing provides - which is where you come in.
You'll work on various (not time-sensitive) projects. You will focus on business improvements, dealing with clients and learning (e.g. cashflow modelling). In short, enjoyable, challenging, value adding work.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
You will need to be an experienced financial planning administrator. The management style will be "light touch" so you'll be confident you can add value quickly and be a self-starter.
Given you'll work from home you'll need to be conscientious. You'll also have experience of working remotely or be ready to face the challenges it brings.
You will need experience of IO, platforms and the ability to learn Voyant (cashflow modelling).
Hours wise the owner is looking for 15-20 hours per week but there's some flexibility around this.
Whilst a remote job it would be best if you were based in Greater Manchester/Cheshire for onboarding and general meet ups. Plus if the firm does ever set up an office it will be in South Manchester.

Your perfect balance is only a click away. Press apply and we will be in touch.
If you don't have a CV don't worry, we can come to that later. For now just send us a way of contacting you.
Everyone will receive a response.
